Land O Lakes, FL real estate is a growing Pasco County community which is inter-mixed among over 100 lakes, thus the name "Land O' Lakes". This small town offers many variations of real estate and homes from well-established communities to newer gated communities, mobile home parks, condos and town homes. Land O' Lakes is situated in Central Pasco County near the Pasco/Hillsborough county line. The short distance from "New Tampa" makes shopping, dining and other consumer necessities within close proximity. The constant new growth of communities, commercial development and the Cypress Creek Mall, which is under development and planned to be completed in 2008, are making Land O’ Lakes the new sought-after community. Land O' Lakes is boarded by I-75 to the East which makes a trip to downtown Tampa or Brandon a short trip and Orlando attractions just over an hour away. The Suncoast Parkway (Veteran's Expressway), located to the westerly border of Land O’ Lakes makes Clearwater and St. Petersburg, in Pinellas County, very convenient and accessible. This toll road will also take you to Spring Hill and other communities north of Land O' Lakes. The east/west route of HWY 54 makes your travel time from Wesley Chapel to the east and Trinity to the West a very quick commute and is the best Hwy to travel easterly or westerly, just above the Hillsborough/Pasco County line.

Despite all of the planned development however, Land O'Lakes real estate is well removed from the busy Bay region and its heavy tourist traffic. With the town's obvious natural and lake property appeal, it's probably for the best that Land O'Lakes is slightly tucked away in Pasco County. Land O'Lakes homes are surprisingly affordable, with a wide selection of waterfront deals in the $200,000 range.
